Chicken Coop

Visit the chicken coop and meet the ladies. Our chickens are guest friendly and love to be fed and handled. Gather your farm fresh eggs at the coop each morning.

Raised Bed Garden

Pick fresh produce directly from the community raised bed garden. More than 30 varieties of vegetables and herbs are available seasonably.

River Deck and Grassy Beach

A sun deck provides a spot of leisure next to the Rapidan River. Just a few yards down a large grassy area creates a beach, perfect for picnics, laying on beach blankets, or wading into the river.

Cut Flower Garden

Pick or cut fresh flowers during your stay from our wildflower patch or the cut flower raised garden beds.

Hiking Trails

Explore the 350 acres using very raw trails or just explore the land off trail. Most of our trails are not maintained and are existing logging roads. Graves Mill Trail is just 4 minutes from the farm and is recommended for all guests.

Wildlife Viewing

The farm is home to black bear, deer, bobcat, several native butterfly species, and dozens of bird species including a pair of Bald Eagles.

Shenandoah National Park

The farm is centrally located on the east side of Shenandoah National Park. The Swift Run entrance to Skyline Drive is just 25 minutes from the farm and the Thornton Gap entrance is 45 minutes. The Graves Mill Trail within SNP is a short 4 minute drive from the farm.
